Moving an Organ

A fellow church member donated an organ to me as I had joined the choir and expressed interest in practicing again to resume playing at Mass. The problem was how to move such an equipment. I got offers from friends, but I settled for a professional, and this is what brought me to uShip. I searched online, and I found their website extremely helpful in helping me place bids.

Piano moved in a timely manner.

Well, uShip was a little confusing at first, but once I caught on to it, I actually enjoyed using it. It took only a few days to accept a good bid, and from there, I had my piano within two days. I had a very good experience, and was blessed with a wonderful service provider, named Mac Wied. If I ever need to ship anything heavy or large again, I will use uShip. Thanks.

great experience shipping my piano

We were shipping a piano, a valued family heirloom, to our nephew who has expressed an interest in seriously studying piano and music in general. I was very pleased with the uship site and feel like I could not have gotten a better deal. Our movers, allpro1424, were prompt, professional, courteous and careful. We are very pleased and recommend them highly. I would definitely use uship and allp ...

Great service with my piano move

I had a big, old upright grand piano to move about 70 miles. I had no idea where to start finding a service provider, nor how to rate them. I found UShip on a search, and they were perfect. I received a couple bids outside my relatively low budget, but was able to find someone who could do the move in my budget, and was flexible with my time. TDT did a great job working with me, and a fantasti ...

great experience

I've never used Uship before and what a excellent tool. Very user friendly and a wide range of bids that I could choose from.

Mom's Piano

Mom gave me the piano because she was moving to a smaller place and didn't have the room to keep it. I just moved to a bigger place and had the room to keep it and the ambition to get back to playing again. I was trying to get over the sticker shock of having to rent a van or truck to move it myself or hiring a company to do it. My husband found uship.com and said we should give a try. I was a l ...

Crites piano shipping

Very good experience with Erin and Travis McClure. Very nice people and they took great care of my piano and got it to my sister safely today. I was nervous to ship this because it is the family piano that all of us learned to play on. Once Travis and Erin drove off with it I knew it was in good hands.

Piano Moving

Piano moving as far as shipping goes can get up there! My original quote was $890 to move my piano from Cleveland to Ann Arbor. And after cold calling 10 places- it got no better than $680. As I contemplated whether saving my piano was worth half of my month's salary ... Luckily, my sister discovered and recommended UShip in the nick of time. Within 1.5 days, I received 11 bids for my job. After e ...

Great working with John

I am a piano dealer in Columbus, Ohio. I had the need for a piano to be moved to Fla and was not happy with the quotes for local and cross country movers. As a dealer, I usually can negotiate a wholesale price for moves but no luck this time(one firm said that they just didn't need the business!) So I jumped onto search mode on my computer and found uShip. I had never heard of this firm but they c ...

Great experience shipping a piano

U ship helped us get a piano moved from Chattanooga to Memphis Tennessee. It was done well, and at a very reasonable price. I will use this site again for any shipping needs I have.

Piano shipment

I needed to ship my antique piano and did not want to pay the prices that were bid $1,000+. Uship provided a medium to allow movers to bid based on my dates and the dimensions and weight of my piano. Within a week, I had a bid at half the price. The movers were professional and arrived on time and took great care of my Piano. I could not be happier. This is a great service and I will cont ...

Great service

I was very impressed with the uShip website and how easy it was to use...I was a little worried to try and find a provider to ship the piano for a reasonable price, but was so pleased with the bids I received. My choice in service provider was based on the bid they gave me but they also provided proposed shipping dates, which worked perfectly with my schedule. I also liked that I could receive ...

uShip Works

Had my piano delivered 750 miles for a fair price. I would use uShip again and Congressional Piano Movers.

Great experience shipping piano

My parents recently sold their home and was going to be moving and didn't need their piano. They offered it up to me but I was responsible for any shipping. I fell upon uShip looking for shippers online for a one-way move. I was concerned about moving a piano since it is very heavy and bulky and it usually involves special movers. I was concerned also about the cost. I received a bid very qui ...

My mother's childhood piano

Music was an important part of my mother's life, from the time she was a little girl, growing up in Bristol, Virginia in the 1950s. Her family would go to church several times a week, where she would sing in the choir. At home, she learned to play piano on an upright, Whitney piano. She died in 2004. Four years later her husband, David, is moving out of their old house, and asked me to hel ...

Shipping my piano

When I thought about shipping my piano to my son across a few states, I had no idea how I was going to do it for a reasonable ammount. After calling some local moving companies, I was discouraged. Even considered renting something and driving it there myself. Then I found Uship.com through an internet search. I was hesitant, at first. Could it really be this easy? I entered my info and began ...

Easy, fast and affordable

Shipped a butcher block we bought on eBay. Uship helped me save a few hundered dollars over general moving companies. Easy to use service. Would definately use it again if needed.

Piano Moved with Ease

My wife's grandmother gave her the family piano, but we had to have it moved from Texas to California. We had no idea where to start. We called one moving company and had a quote of $1375 and we weren't sure if it would be worth shipping the piano at all. My wife was heartbroken that she may have to let it go. I searched the internet, found uShip, and decided to give it a try. Within two days ...

Peace of mind about Mom's piano

At first, Heartland Movers had a hard time making it to the pickup. We had to reset the date and I had to make the 150-mile trip to Mom's old house AGAIN. But, to be totally fair, Antonio called me continuously during his attempt to meet the original appointment and only rescheduled when he could not overcome an equipment malfunction AND ensure the safety of moving my mother's piano. Truthfully ...

Kawai Grand Shipment

I needed a Kawai grand piano moved from a home residence to my music school. Carolina Piano Movers made it look easy! I appreciated their flexibility with scheduling and overal professionalism.

Careful shipping of my antique organ

We had a family heirloom in Colorado shipped and delivered in only a few days! The movers were very careful and wrapped the 1870's organ carefully and it arrived in perfect condition. We were so worried about the delicacy of this antique and working reed organ and were very pleased in the bidding process to find the right match! We got a great price and a professional piano moving company that ...

Moving a piano

I needed to have a piano moved. I didn't live in the departure or destination location. I needed someone who could move it quickly, for a reasonable price, and be able to communicate with a variety of parties to provide access for the pick up and delivery. Uship allowed me to post the job, receive offers and ask questions to find the best company for the service. The carolinapianomovers definit ...

Handing down my piano to my daughter

My daughter turns five this year, so my parents and I felt that it is a good time to pass my piano down to her. The problem is that I now live in California and my parents are in Michigan, and I have never dealt with Piano movers before (I didn't even know that it was a specialty business). It just turned out that JPS Piano Moving was heading out west when I made the inquery and gave me a grea ...

reuniting with my piano

I stumbled onto the uShip website when I was trying to decide how to get my piano to Phoenix from Sacramento. My daughter had been piano-sitting for me for about 8 years while I finished grad school and got a job. I posted a listing and got 8 bids--several quite competitive--less than half what it would have cost me to fly there, rent a Uhaul, load it and bring it myself. We chose the one that l ...

inexpensive move of my piano

I found a great deal on uship.com. A mover was willing to move my piano from Texas to Missouri for only $150. I had to do the packing and loading (with the driver's help) and unload (again with the driver's help). But it was well worth the money.

The Easiest Way

For years, my parents in Idaho promised us their upright piano, but we had no way of getting it to Kansas. Thanks to UShip we found an easy and affordable way to get it here.

Great experience shipping my piano and tv.

I am always skeptical using an online service due to the amount of fraud and identity theft; however I am extremely pleased with my uship experience. My wife wanted her childhood piano shipped from her parent's house and during the bidding process my parent's sold their house and offered us their 55" television. I contacted some of the bidders through uship and inquired about the addition of the t ...

Aunt Tracy's Piano

Yes I will always use UShip for any shipping need in the future. It made my piano delivery a pain free experience. I've moved a piano before. Swore I'd never do it again. Using UShip was just about the easiest thing I've ever done and I got my piano moved at a great price and no backache.

Great piano move

This was my first time using uShip but I couldn't be happier with the results. I feel I received a very competitive cost for moving my piano from my parent's house to my house. I didn't have to find phone numbers online or on the internet, instead I simply put my information on the website and the vendors did the leg work for me. Great experience.

Dependable piano mover and more

They moved a baby grand piano 300 miles. Piano was in a mobile home and was in a tight location. No problem with this mover. Had it all down to a science. Moved into new location pass tile floors and wood floors too. No problem again. Piano, floors and walls all were perfect. Would use again for any kind of move.

Shipping a Baby Grand Piano

These guys are pros. Had piano loaded in 10 minutes. Delivery time to set up took only five minutes. Everything arrived perfectly. I was out of the country and for some reason, which I forget, delivery was delayed. Shipped stored things for me for three weeks. WOuld I use uShip again. You bet I would. Michael A. Smith

A very easy way to get the job done.

The best decision I made was to use uShip to move a piano from one home to the next. I was able to obtain bids without feeling pressured and I was able to review not only cost but the experience of the bidding servicers. I chose a business not because they had the absolute lowest bid but they also had the best feedback history too. I would never have known whether I was getting the most qualifie ...

Ship piano and more

I wanted to sell my grand piano, and when I asked my daughter in Florida if she was interested, she said yes. I considered many shipping options, including renting a truck, installing a hitch and renting a trailer, pricing bids online with piano movers. But uShip was great! The bids came in at 60% of the price I was quoted directly from various piano movers. Even better Ryan agreed to haul ano ...

moving piano

I had a piano that needed to be shipped from Florida to NC. I chose a mover using the uship.com we kept in touch as he wasn't able to fit the piano onto the truck for two weeks. When he did it was carefully wrapped and was delivered to my daughter in excellent shape. Thanks Brian and Uship...a great service that I would use again. Valerie

Wonderful experience moving my mother in law's piano.

I started this process by calling local companies and taking bids. I had one company in town show up, get the piano half way out he door, and then ask for more money. When I refused because of honoring their initial quote, they walked off the job. I could have saved 1 month of hassel by just using uShip. Service with uShip is always perfect and your can't beat the price!

Happy with Shipping of My Piano

I had a digital piano that I needed assistance in moving, because I did not have the time to drive out to DC and move it myself. Bob/J&J responded to my posting with a bid and invited questions. We used the uShip interface to clarify questions to the satisfaction of all parties. J&J maintained excellent communication when original shipping schedule changed, which made me feel completely secure ...

moving a baby grand

We needed to move the antique baby grand piano I inherited from town to our house in the mountains. This job was tricky because of the age of the piano and the location of our house. Our house is located approximately 9 miles up a dirt road. I was very concerned about moving the piano up the dirt road. Usually we do things ourselves, but to move the piano safely we needed to find professionals. ...

Baby grand piano

Excellent service

Moving the Hammond and matching Leslie (over 40 years old) was very expensive by traditional movers. I needed it moved fairly quickly and delivered on a specific date. The price and timing was perfect when Mike said he would take the job. The person I sold the Hammond and Leslie to was very pleased with the service and care given to the whole process. Mike was a pleasure to do business with... and ...

Piano shipped promptly and efficiently

Although finding a buyer for our piano took a long time, uShip was there all along in providing me with reasonable quotes on the shipment. When the buyer was found, I could get the piano delivered very promptly. Asking questions to the bidders was also surprisingly efficient.

Would use uShip again

This is my first experience with uShip, and I was very happy with the results. Would use the service again, as it made it easier for me to gather up bids and select a moving company that was able to complete the move.

Very good experience moving my piano

I purchased a piano and needed it moved...Jp offered to do it at a reasonable price. His team communicated with me throughout the process and made an extra trip to my house to complete the project. All turned out well.

Heavenly Music!

Our U-Ship shipper moved a full-sized chapel organ for us (for less than what the crash-and-crush movers wanted). The AllPro movers obviously had experience, as well as the right equipment. Everything was padded, strapped, secured, and handled with care. This shipment was SO heavy (and valuable), we couldn't possibly have done it ourselves, with ANY amount of volunteer labor. A professiona ...

Mountain Transport performed every aspect of the job with cheerful care and professionalism. Mike Consodine even adjusted his schedule at the last minute to better serve the move of an Allen organ from one church to another. I heartily recommend his company. Robert Sabino
