Piano transportation
Prompt initial reply to bidding questions, prompt collection & delivery. Did not reply to email sent directly to the company about arranging times but answered phone call when phoned a day later. Asked for a receipt but it was said I had to contact through uship website. Unsure about this.
Very helpful men who delivered the piano, helped move old piano to the garage over a step.

Piano donation to school
We wanted to donate an upright piano to a school that needed one.
Uship allowed us to ship the piano at a cost that made sense. I did look elsewhere but Uship was considerably cheaper.
The service was excellent and the site worked well.
I will definitely use Uship again and recommend it to others!

Good job
Pianosrus picked up my piano from the South West and delivered it on time. They took good care of the piano and were careful not to make marks on the wooden floor etc. The piano was reassembled and put into its final position as requested.
Good service and a very satisfied customer!

Kirsty's Piano
Upright, heavy piano moved from Aberdeenshire to Tyneside as a wedding present. U-ship so easy to use; first bid accepted was later cancelled due to scheduling difficulties but deposit refunded immediately. We could not have shifted it for the price quoted. Delighted by the friendly reliable service. Would certainly use this method of goods delivery again.

Piano collection and delivery
I needed to get my piano shipped. The journey is around 200 miles. I stumbled across uship via google after being disappointed with how expensive registered piano removals seemed to be. I had low expectations from Uship. However, within an hour of posting my requirements was delighted when the first quote came through. Within a few days I had accepted a quote and arranged collection and delivery ...

Gute Erfahrung

Move of normal upright piano
The use of uShip (reverse auction) was a very positive experience, and certainly saved time and probably quite a bit of money as well. It seems to work to the advantage of both customer (less work gathering quotes and generally less cost) and supplier (finding and scheduling jobs more easily and effectively).
I will certainly use it again if the need arises.

A successful move of Mum's clavinova
My mother was no longer using her Clavinova and offered to give it to a family member who would use and appreciate it. That meant moving it from Oxford to Milton Keynes. We toyed with the idea of doing it ourselves. It would probably fit in my large estate car but carrying it down a narrow steep flight of stairs looked risky, so we decided to look for professionals to help. In searching for possib ...

Ebay piano
Bought a piano on Ebay at tea time on Sunday, booked job sunday night and got it delivered less than 24 hours after listing the shipment.
Fantastic - got a piano shipped quicker than you can send a Christmas card.

Laura's baby grand
Good experience overall. A little damage on piano in the form of several nicks. One broken table leg (I had some other pieces of furniture moved as well), but I trust Steve will take care of this--the delivery took place only yesterday, so there hasn't been time to deal with yet. Steve has been very professional about addressing the broken table leg over the phone with me, so I have no doubt we ...

They did a great job moving a piano for us across the state. We needed it done fairly quickly and they completed the move even earlier than needed. A pleasure working with Andrei!

Transport eines Klaviers
alles in allem guter Transport.
habe altes Klavier transportiert.

Smartsteve - Fender Rhodes Electric Piano Transit
I purchased a 240kg Fender Rhodes electric piano off eBay. Unfortunately as I didn't have a car or any suitable means of transport I was stuck for ideas until I remembered seeing uShip on a Google search.
About an hour after purchasing the Rhodes I put an advert up asking for couriers to quote. The first bids kicked in after 30 minutes and continued to arrive for another couple of days. After ...

Heavy piano and tricky stairs!
To be honest, ours wasn't an attractive or easy job - shifting an old, large upright piano from the Godparents' house to ours up a narrow flight of stairs with a bend in the middle. A couple of companies actually backed out when they realised how tricky it was. Fortunately, the uShip site lets you know exactly what's going on with your bid, and I found it relatively easy to use.

Little Piano
We were happy to find uship. w/o it we would have had to abandon a family-loved piano in Seattle because it was worth about equal to what it would have cost to ship it across the country for the typical shipping bid. Thank you u-ship & thanks to the carrier also.

Great People
Enjoyed working with Frank and Lois. Professional but friendly. Great communicators about the status of the pian move.

piano move across town
I had to ship my piano across town. I was told to try uShip which I had never heard of or used. It was very easy to use. Several service providers bid on the piano within one hour of posting the piano. I accepted a rebid. They called and the move got set up for the day I had entered on the site. The day of the move, the Service Provider came and did a very professional job of moving the piano onto ...

Fantastic experience shipping my piano and personal items.
My piano sat in my mom's living room in Missouri for 36 years. I have not live there for 27 years and moved to California 16 years ago. But I always knew someday my piano would come home to me again. Well, this year, my mom decided to move to a retirement community so that time was now. Of course at this point, the piano's value is mostly sentimental so cost effectiveness was important. I kn ...

Piano for Grandkids
We hired Frank & Lois to ship a piano from IN to WI. Frank & Lois were awesome in communication and service.
Frank wrapped the piano with LOTS of padding and then shrink wrap. He also took the piano bench apart and wrapped each piece with padding before wrapping with shrink wrap.
We thought it would be impossible to get the piano down the basement at the destination because of the sharp an ...

Piano Move
I purchased a piano for my wife's Christmas as a surprise. I bought it from a man who had it listed on Craig's list. I had to move this item aqpprox. 60 miles and really had no way to do it. Strauss123 gave me a very fair bid that I accepted. I was going to meet them at the point of orgin but the night before the move day my wife fell down a flight of nine icy stairs and fractured some ribs an ...

PIANO
I wanted to ship my piano, given to me by my grandmother to my son rather than just get rid of it. It has been in my mother's house in NJ since and she has been deceased for 3 years. When I was going to dispose of it, my son wanted it. So, I had bids on moving it. Brian of BGS rate was quite acceptable. Less than I thought it would cost and it enabled me to finally get the piano there. At fi ...

Great Experience shipping a piano
I'd visited a friend in the Dallas area during Thanksgiving and was asked if I wanted a piano that needed to be gotten rid of. All I had to do was get it back to Houston. I originally thought of buying a one-way ticket to fly back to Dallas and rent a U-Haul truck to load and drive the piano back myself with the help of a family member. However, this past Friday, my friend called me and asked i ...

Family Piano
I needed to ship my mom's piano. A year ago I tried to ship it and checked into prices at moving companies. They were $800-1200! We were going to ship last year with uship, but the shipper went bankrupt and canceled. I had given up but then decided to try one more time on uship. This time, I had many bids and everything worked out perfectly. I spent $488 and got my piano in less than a week! ...

Piano shipping
I was shipping my grandmother's piano from Columbus, MS to Fort Walton Beach, FL. I stumbled across the uShip website during my search for a "professional piano mover". Trying to pick between all the bidders was absolutely nerve-wracking, only because they all seemed so qualified and it was hard to choose who I thought would be the best carrier for me. According to the website, I paid about the ...

Piano Shipment
Put out the bid for the piano to go from Pittsburgh to Florida. Within a few days I had four good offers. Leslie 122RV arrived safe and sound
I needed a vintage Leslie speaker shipped from Florida to a Hammond tech in New Jersey. As with anything Hammond, shipping is a deal breaker and most want to find something close to home. I'm overseas and needed a convenient, not so complicated reliable shipper who would carry the speaker to its special destination. As I have experiences with musical equipment arriving damaged in the hands of the ...

Moving Piano from Joplin to Jacksonville
I was pleased overall with the shipment. The piano was delivered on time and unharmed. I was expecting him to have help at the delivery site. I think his moving help was solicited online and did not show up so my sister-in-law had to help with the piano. This was not ideal, but it was not necessary the fault of the service provider. i would suggest he use reliable sources rather than random i ...

Shipping my piano from Seattle to Los Angeles
My first time on uShip and I'm very happy with how my experience turned out. I was shipping a Baldwin upright piano from Seattle to Los Angeles. I highly recommend UShip and will use them again!

Grandma's piano from MI to TX
I was able to acquire my grandparent's piano and required shipping from MI to TX. I saw the excellent reviews from Seatledriver and requested a bid from them. Hammond Organ Move

Rebate program is a HUGE HASSLE
As with many, many uShip users, when I went to claim the rebate for which uShip's pop-up ads repeatedly said I was eligible, a scouring of the uShip website revealed not even one link to the rebate program.
I had to read multiple user complaints in the Forums before finding the byzantine maze of steps to be completed - which still require that a physical form be completed and mailed to uShip be ...
