uShip was an invaluable resource for locating a shipper who could handle a rather difficult item - a 700 pound Subzero refrigerator. I ended up getting three bids, and all were considerably less than it would have cost going through UPS. All in all, a very good experience.

well it was a bit scary at first. i was getting emails on the side and phone calls at home so i got a bit frusterated with everyone. once i picked the fair bid i had several calls telling me that i was making a big mistake. i didnt. uship matched me with a wonderful mover who did a fabulous job.

Chris showed up with his truck and a helper. They loaded a refrigerator and dishwasher up, took it about 12 miles away. Recipient was happy with the delivery. The fridge was large and they had to take the front door off the hinges, all of this was communicated ahead of time. No surprises, no complaints, timely enough pickup and delivery.
