I was not clear that on take up there was an automatic acceptance to show as booked - I had thought that you could still opt in or out. This should be made clearer - as if you get an offer for an earlier delivery you may wish to take this up. The carrier was totally happy luckily to just cancel.

Generally good. The problems I have had are systemic to this lowest price shipping model - shippers will accept a shipment in conjunction with others which makes the whole load economic. If one customer drops out then the shipper will often cancel the whole run meaning unbexpected delays or simply refuse to contact the customer any more.
