I've used u-ship several times and would highly recommend this to any one. I am in the trucking profession myself. The rates on most of this stuff is cheaper than you can do it yourself, unless your're right there. Very good experiance with u-ship looking forward to doing busisness in the future.

Odd item to ship - a bare Dune Buggy Frame. Many shippers wanted it crated, or on a large pallet - but that was not possible for me, arranging the shipping from Washington to Iowa (and me being on the recieving end of the shipment). Through uShip, I found a shipper that could take it as is, for a very, very reasonable price.

I bought a boat engine off of Ebay and needed it shipped from N.J. to Ohio. Didn't know about uShip but it was cool to learn. People bidding on your shipment took no time at all.

Got bids withing a few minutes. Fast pickup. I was flexible on the dates, so no rush. I'd recommend better status updates in your system.
