I think a listing fee and an internet fee is excessive. My U-ship Charges were approximately 22% - 24% of my shipping fee. We had an issue in that the boat could not be towed on the trailer because of trailer issues. The shipper arranged to haul both boat and trailer to Texas which involved launching the boat and having to lift the original trailer to the top of his truck. This was all done at no extra cost to us. Remarkable!

Once i understood the uShip system i would have to say it does work well although it does feel odd to commit to ship something with someone you haven't spoken with directly. I suppose if you dont like them you can cancel the shipment but you will have already paid uShip their fee in order to make contact with the shipper . All in all my shipment and price worked out well .

Had a lot of doubts about using this type of shipping service. One thing I have found out is to make sure you ask a lot of up front questions about insurance and exactly how things will be handled. One case I asked four times for shippers insurance and he kept avoiding the question. Over all the experience was a good one.

My shipper was Great! Even though the trailer was brand new, some of the bolts came loose on the shear springs. If Frank had not noticed this the axial could have come off. Frank caught this and then got it fixed. Frank is the right person for any shipping job. He keeps in touch and more important, he keeps his word - what he says he will do, he does.
