uShip is a Great Service.

I needed to find a way to deal with shippers when I could not be there with my property. This service was the perfect choice. I immediately got a better price and found references to insure that I got someone dependable and trustwothy. I've already recommended the service to a friend who intends to use it.

Uship Rocks

Being a service provider myself, I have always been on the other side of the shipment. I had a customer I needed to get a very large Painting to and really wanted to get it there myself, economically this just wasn't possible. I decided I would list the painting on uship and see if I could get another service provider to get this to my customer. I knew that this was possible only because of Uship. ...

Elk Head Fiasco

I had a mounted 6 x 6 royal elk head that was mounted in Arizona, I needed it delivered to Sunburst Montana... population 125. To drive from Washington state to Arizona and then to Montana would be tough physically not to mention the cost involved for fuel and hotels. I found the Uship web site, entered my request and matched up with the perfect carrier in 2 days. By using Uship I not only save ...

Shipping oversize package

My daughter's artwork was awarded an honor and needed to be shipped to New York from Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the piece when packed was too large for FedEx or UPS. I found uShip and posted the shipment info and got a bid within a week. The artwork arrived in good condition in New York in time to be part of the exhibit.

uShip

uShip is very cool. Recommended by an e-bay seller and enabled me to get a wonderful large wall sculpture that was "for pickup only". Convenient. Found a GREAT person to handle the shipping at a very reasonable price.

Large STAY ON TOP painting sold to the famous songwriter Diane Warren! ship to Hollywood.Sure! hmm

So here it goes... i sold the painting and quote a budget of 250 for box materials and shipping costs... i have it packed 6' by 6' by 4" and the ups guys say they will pick it up and ship it...SWEET! it doesn't happen because the supervisor won't allow it darn liars!!!... i call ups freight and they quote me for $700 (urgh!: and i am never frustrated) so now my day is not going so well. I walk to ...

I am very pleased with UShip! Great site easy to use.

I am a former museum curator as well as antiques seller, so have used various shipping services throughout the years. By far,, UShip is the best site I've found to date. EBay shipping was a total disaster - so much so I quit EBAy altogether. This time I was shipping family hierlooms to both sides of the country and the process went so smoothly. Thanks so much for making life easier and providing ...

Nice to find UShip

UPS wouldn't ship my item due to size, so I Googled 'oversize package shipping' or something and found UShip. Very easy to setup my account and post my job. I received a number of responses within a couple of hours. Reasonable rates and great website. I will definitely use again. Thanks UShip.

My first time with uShip

I was very pleased to discover this service. I wasn't expecting to find so many replies to my shipping request and the prices were very reasonable!Plus I could find out more about the shipping services by reding their feedbacks. That helps a lot. I will be happy to continue using it in the future.

Great...no problems whatsoever!

Dennis gave me a bid in the afternoon...picked up the painting that night (!!!) and had it in SoCal by early the next day! It doesn't get any better than that!!

Art Shipment

Mildly eccentric owner made the experience very interesting. The process was easy, friendly, and efficient.

Fantastic Experience

Getting a 400 pound--ten foot steel sculpture purchased on Ebay shipped to south Florida for roughly $400 was quite remarkable. Larger private freight companies would have charged at least twice that, and likely more. UShip has opened up a world of purchasing opportunity for me, in consideration that reasonable shipping costs can be had for heavy items located across the country, which makes my pu ...

Uship

I was traveling and unable to access a computer so I was using my Blackberry to make the arrangements. It was awkward and almost impossible to complete the transaction. Otherwise I found Uship to be very helpful.

Great experience shipping my art

I was worried about the safety of my artwork since this was my first time using U-ship. However, I trusted the other users' feedback. Much to my surprise, my quote was much lower than commercial carriers, like FedEx who almost always bash a corner of my art boxes. And, they don't like to insure art. I was shipping framed art in wood crates and mounted art in a cardboard box. The driver strapped my ...

Our painting got home!

We had borrowed a large painting from our daughter for an art show, picking it up in a large rented van. But then we had no way to return it to her without renting another van. We had used uShip service before and been pleased, so I posted our painting on Sunday, got two responses and chose one. The owner-operator kept in touch either through his office or himself every step of he way, once ...

Thank goodness for small shippers!

Working with a tight budget, I had ship my paintings 1400 miles. UShip is a great option. Not only did it hook me up with a great shipper, but it saved me a lot of money. And I love the fact that I'm giving business to smaller companies, individuals or couples. There's more care and accountability. I would definitely use Uship again.

We shipped a 5 foot metal heron!!!

We operate a coop gallery in Western Michigan and one of our metal sculptures, a five foot heron, was purchased by a woman from Colorado. We were unable to ship via UPS or Fed Ex because the heron exceeded size limitations. So, after searching the web, we were thrilled to find uShip.com and even happier when our shipment was bid on within a couple of days! To make our experience even more delig ...

great experience shiping my artwork

I am a visual artist , a painter. I have a NYC gallery that represents me , unfortunately they , like many other businesses fell on hard times and announced that they were closing the busines down and so I was asked to come and pick up my work which had been there on consignment.I decided to ship 4 paintings from the NYC gallery to a San Francisco gallery. Now, I live in Toronto Canada, so I coul ...

Large Lot Shipping

Shipping big stuff is a pain in the neck. uShip solves all that with an equitable bidding process for an order just like an auction on eBay. It is quite remarkable, really. I shipped a large oil painting from coast to coast and it was a good experience. My shipper was a good guy and the communication was just right. I will use uShip again for sure

Terriffic shipping experience

My artwork was picked up punctually and delivered to its destination from NY to FL on time and with a minimum effort on my part. The price was fair and reasonable and Dan was most pleasant and accomodating. I would not hesitate to recommend D & K services to my friends and use him again. ALLEN P.S. uShip made the connection to the shipper possible and it was a pleasant experience--thanks to t ...

Great experience

I had a variety of art, antiques and rug but a small shipment with more sentimental value than market value. We packed it and a speciality shipper who normally takes motorcycles took it across the country in a nice, small truck. I was a little concerned that my specialty items didn't match the shippers expertise but it worked out great. We paid half of what a shipping company had quoted us bef ...

I'm spreading the news...

been telling all my family and friends about uship.com...what a great concept!

paintings

Paintings went to 3 different galleries. U ship was very helpful, I wanted to make direct contact with the firm that would handle my work. I saved $800 or so using U ship. I will use them again.

shipping artwork

I am an artist with a studio in New York City. When I have to ship artwork to a client or for a show, it can be very tricky finding a safe and reasonable way to ship the work. I am in a show in Charlottesville, VA and needed to ship 10 oil paintings there. Another artist friend said they had used a soft-pack/trucking method and it had worked. I had no idea where to find a good trucking source ...

My artwork made it without a scratch

I needed four large mural paintings shipped from Pennsylvania to Colorado. USHIP came to my rescue and I found a great match who got my paintings safely to Colorado in two days!!! I was able to save a lot of money using an independent trucking company instead of a commercial freight company. It saved me loads of money. Most importantly, my fragile artwork, made it to its destination unharmed. ...

Giant Sailfish Migration

This was my first UShip experience, and it was great. I won an old Sailfish mount on EBay, without noticing the Seller was not willing to handle shipping. The Seller was concerned about damage, and made the item a "pick-up only" auction. I won the item for a fraction of what I expected to pay-- which was the first sign I had missed the shipping issue. Since I wasn't about to drive 1500 m ...

Great dealing with AAA+++++

I SHIPPED A CRATE OF ARTWORK 40 X 70. PICK UP WAS PROMPT AND DELIVERY WAS EVEN MORE PROMPT. THE OWNER WAS GREAT TO DEAL WITH. I WOULD GLADLY DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN. AAAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++

A great experience shipping my giant Bronze Deer.

I live in Spokane, Washington, and I purchased a larger-than-life bronze deer statue from a private party in Florida for a good price, but had a terrible time trying to line up a shipper to get it here. Most shipping/trucking companies did not want to deal with it because it was not crated or on a pallet, and the ones that were interested wanted a fortune. I found Uship online, listed my deer wi ...

Great experience shipping a large painting

EZ Movers did a great service for a reasonable price. It costed almost 1/2 of what I would have spent if I would have gone with UPS. They picked up my shipment less than 1 week after I posted. I would definitely use UShip again and I highly recommend EZ Movers.

UShip is a great service

My mother passed away in July, and I needed to have some of her things and quite of bit of my father's art work (he was an artist who passed away over 25 years ago) shipped to me from Chicago to Atlanta. The items didn't have much monetary value, but they meant the world to me. I have to admit, I was extremely anxious about having a stranger 'roaming around the country' with my parents memories. ...

Shipping delicate item

Excellent communication, care and handling of shipment. Came when they said they would with a box specifically made for my shipment, packed with care. Everything arrived safe. Everything handled courteously and professionally. Would definitely recommend.

opens new opportunities

I am a painter in Los Angeles and thanks to Uship I am able to show my work all over the country. My paintings arrive safely, soundly and affordably!

Great art shipping

Shipped a crated and very fragile glass art piece from Atlanta to Texas. Arrived for pick up as agreed and delivered ahead of schedule. Kept us informed of his progress until the package was delivered. Nice guy and very professional. Will certainly use this service again.

great shipper shipping my painting

He got hit by a semi truck and still made my delivery! Great person and great work.

Great experience shipping fine art

I was having a solo exhibit of paintings in Sarasota, Florida. 31 pieces all together in twelve containers. It took me a very long time to find the right shipper, but I was able to find a perfect match with uShip. My shipper came early to pick everything up. My shipment was the only thing in his cargo van, which gave me a strong sense of security. Packing the van went efficiently. The trip t ...

Art hits the road and survives......

I was shipping a set of paintings and prints I had lost in a divorce to my ex who was now moving to China and could not keep them anymore. (There is a God.) She wanted to get them out of her house which was up for sale ASAP. I was afraid it would prove too expensive to ship due to size and fragile nature of the pieces, but UShip came through with a provider who was affordable and in the area of ...

Telephone pole delivered....

Well, I use a little literary license in the title. The actual item I have been waiting to be moved the short 300 miles from Ft. Worth to Lubbock, is actually a painting of a telephone pole. A painting just large enough not to fit in any standard car or SUV and painted with thick acrylic paint that cant be rolled or removed from the frame without damage. Each trip I took to Ft Worth I would c ...

Trustworthy and successful transportation of painting

I was shipping a 6' x 6' painting I created.  Obviously, I was apprehensive and meticulous about who I selected.  Based on positive feedback, I chose Lowell and Cary, aka "lakerats."  The price was unbeatable and they helped load it onto the truck and move it into my apartment.  I would definitely recommend using them.

great experience shipping my paintings

I had 18 oil paintings that needed to arrive to the gallery safely where the time frame was crucial. NwDelivery wrapped the work with 3 layers of protective material and accomplished the task
