The delivery was scheduled. The transporter picked up the bike a day later than initially scheduled. The transporter contacted me initially to drop off by 1PM. Drop-off ended up being at 8PM. If you have some flexibility in pick up and receipt, this is a good way to ship and save costs. At the same time it can help the shipper make a few bucks by filling up their truck when they have some space left. The other advantage is you don't have to go through the hassle and expense of having a motorcycle crated, fuel drained, oil drained to move it across country.
