The absolute key to getting great service with USHIP as a shipper is to be extremely accurate and precise about the dimensions, weight (if a heavy item) and pickup/delivery specifications or constraints. This was excavation equipment that required a specialized trailer. You need to know or be able to describe the type of trailer you need.
