Since this was my first time having anything shipped and having never used the site before, I made the mistake of giving and asking for phone numbers. I should have been more careful to look at the rules, etc. I received several very good bids and was pleased with the one I accepted.

My bid was to move a J-29 sailboat from San Diego to Detroit. Thomas' bid was competitive but not the lowest. After looking at his saftey record with USDOT I accepted the bid. The pick up went smoothly as did the drop off. Thomas made excellent time and my boat arrived in great shape.I highly recommend Thomas for anyone needing to transport a boat.

one misleading item about uship is they lead you to believe that the biggest part of the deposit you pay goes to the shipper. that is not true. for instance on a 2400 ship fee, the $33 fee AND the $250 fee all goes to uship. it is not like ebay where a small fraction goes to them.
