I joined Uship a week or two ago and didn't know much about them or how they worked. I needed a transport for my bike that was coming from New York to MD (6 hr one way trip) and needed to find someone in a week or less. They advertise to ship with confidence? Really, but when it comes to it they have NO AUTHORITY TO BACK UP THIS CLAIM. UNLIKE Ebay that has an arbitration dept, U SHIP says they'll contact the shipper to help resolve claims. That's it, they have no authority to reimburse you direct from the shipper, or withhold funds from the shipper (like ebay can) if you are clearly wronged.
