Once i understood the uShip system i would have to say it does work well although it does feel odd to commit to ship something with someone you haven't spoken with directly. I suppose if you dont like them you can cancel the shipment but you will have already paid uShip their fee in order to make contact with the shipper . All in all my shipment and price worked out well .

Steve took excellent care of my boat, securing interior items like they were his own. He was also very helpful to the yard personnel during their unloading process. The yard seemed unfamiliar with a boat with such a wide beam and they didn't have very good equipment. Steve's vast experience and quick actions probably saved a disaster.

We had an issue in that the boat could not be towed on the trailer because of trailer issues. The shipper arranged to haul both boat and trailer to Texas which involved launching the boat and having to lift the original trailer to the top of his truck. This was all done at no extra cost to us. Remarkable!
