We were in a bit of a pickle when we realised the desk we bought on eBay was too big to fit in our car and so had no idea how we would get it from the uk to France. Uship was a fantastic to find a cost effective solution. Only downside to website is that there are problems logging in if you are a safari user - uship telling us to download another web browser is not an acceptable solution!

I was not clear that on take up there was an automatic acceptance to show as booked - I had thought that you could still opt in or out. This should be made clearer - as if you get an offer for an earlier delivery you may wish to take this up. The carrier was totally happy luckily to just cancel.

U-Ship is a great way to find a good, honest transport service, without the cost and formality of a major removal company. I used this to ship a number of household belongings, that were not a full load, between the UK and Austria. It worked really well.
