Shipping a boat from texas to alberta, I found that the estimate was very low compared to the actual bids i recieved. this may have been cost of gas increase, but plan a bit more budget before you buy. our shipper was excellent. all in all a good service, easy to use.

He blew two flat tires and drove several miles to get new ones.He also put new bearings on the trailer and packed them with grease for which he would not take money for. Once i understood the uShip system i would have to say it does work well although it does feel odd to commit to ship something with someone you haven't spoken with directly. I suppose if you dont like them you can cancel the shipment but you will have already paid uShip their fee in order to make contact with the shipper . All in all my shipment and price worked out well .

Bought a boat on ebay, it was 700 miles away but I thought we would just make the 1400 mile round trip. When reddog picked up the jet ski- the seller called after he left and asked if he was a friend- he said he cheked bearings, used his own grease gun and inspected it as if it were his own.
