OK - I love a good project...what guy doesn't?
I found a great vintage headboard in what I can only describe as "my girlfriend will hate me for this" condition...
It's perfect, it's sleek, it's complete, it's cheap, it's cross country...in New York...in downtown manhatten....on the 18th floor....@!$#&*
After calling a couple of moving companies and recovering from their "competative bids"...I posted on Uship...
and was connected with the type of firm I love doing business with...small, honest, reputable, and trustworthy.
THey worked with me to schedule pick up and get it to me in due time with another shipment that was headed this way...
it arrived in tact...
...and is sitting in my workshop, ready for restoration once the mood, or my girlfriend, strikes me...
