In October I packed up my mother's apartment in Florida and got movers to bring her furniture to NY. We left a few things in the apartment until it sold and then try to sell them on Craigs list. After the move up I realized that the chairs I left down there were really special and I wanted them. I called the movers to see how much it would cost to move 4 kitchen chairs. They told me that their minimum was $900. I was about to give up on the idea of getting the chairs to NY when I discovered UShip. I posted and quickly got the right bid, the chairs arrived in 6 days in perfect condition and a really good price! Now I know what to do if I ever need furniture transported.
