I have never used U-ship nor that I have ever heard about it. As an old dog on the E-bay and overall internet market (more than 7 years) I have always felt constrained to what I can buy since I have to pick things up my self. U-ship is a great, safe and cheap alternative to traveling crosscountry to pick something up.
Terry (my shipper) was a terrific person to deal with. The deal for shipping my bike after an E-bay transaction was done within 4 hours of my listing being posted on the web site. Best of all it costed me what gas money would have been just to drive to Southern California. Shipping was early and the bike was in perfect shape and very well cared for since it got in the covered trailer until it was dropped off in front of my house.
I think this is the way that shipping was meant to be!!! Way to go U-Ship.
