I had to ship a framed painting to a brother across the country. No good affordable options readily presented themselves - hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Discovered U-ship on line and gave it a try. One guy responded; he was passing through and headed in the general direction I needed to go. He asked my target price, and I gave him one. He said yes. I was suspicious about the whole thing, including having to pay him cash up front. All seemed kinda informal. Reviewed his references and it looked good. End of story: It all went perfectly; he did a great job. I am thrilled.
