I am in New York, I needed a specific lawn and garden lime shipped from a TSC in Bakersfield CA to Santa Ana CA. I couldn't get it picked up by the delivery destination, and couldn't find this brand anywhere else closer to the destination. I was in quite a fix. I called TSC- I could purchase long distance and have it picked-up, but they don't ship either. I remembered a letter I got a few months ago describing Uship with horses being transported, so I decided "why not give it a try" I had never done anything like this before, but was at my whits end not knowing how to get 300 pounds of lime 170 miles south, and I am across the Country!!! I put up my listing, had several bis in one day- I discussed the options and felt some prices were too high. I then needed to figure out delivery options and timing- again-I am in NY, not California. I made some calls and when I found a good match with timing and pick-up I accepted a strong communicator. My accepted bid was MEBS Transport from Burbank California, Mike contacted me immediately upon acceptance and had my shipment picked up the SAME DAY!! Delivery was 2 days later due to my friends not working weekends- otherwise it would have been delivered same day. I am extremely happy with my choice and will use Uship in the future and also MEBS Transport .
