Once I had accepted a quote I heard nothing, no confirmation from UShip, I emailed the transporter saying I had paid the deposit and collection details but UShip had not made him aware of the job. I emailed UShip twice and three days after accepting the quote I finally had a reply and apology and saying they would be contacting the transporter. The transporter had to ring me to ask for my address details even though I had entered them on the UShip site. The transporter was not forwarded any details from UShip , luckily the transporter and I communicated well and exchanged the necessary info for the delivery to go ahead. I did feel let down as even though I paid my deposit promptly I was left for three days before I had any confirmation that my request had been made. On this occasion UShip did not deserve their share of my deposit.
