This car has belonged only to my Father before me. He gave it me when he was 88! It is therefore of great sentimental value. We had intended to export it permanently to Italy where we have a little house, but it was really difficult and expensive to register it there,and in the meanwhile, our British documents for the car became outdated. Consequently, it was of no use to us there and we wanted to bring it back to the UK. Unfortunately, with it being 36 years old, we could not drive it without breakdown cover or legal documents, so we used Uship to find us The Autotransporter, who drove it back for us, together with our year's harvest of olive oil, walnuts, figs and wine!!! I don't expect he felt very confident when he saw it for the first time or when he had to discuss its idiosyncrasies with an Italian garage owner, but it drove better than he expected and turned a few heads into the bargain. It was wonderful to see it arrive, with its cheerful young driver, last Friday as arranged.A wonderful surprise to find him and to use uship whom I had never heard of. Car problem solved!I shall certainly recommend both Autotransporter and Uship to anyone wishing to transport things.
